Jay Jay Okocha will reunite with Ronaldinho as the football legend pays tribute to the former Arsenal and Man City star.

Emmanuel
Adebayor's farewell match is scheduled for October 25-27 and Jay Jay Okocha has confirmed he will play.

The
Nigerian football icon will pay tribute to the Togolese legend who played for top European clubs such as Arsenal and Manchester City.

Okocha
will be reunited with former PSG teammate Ronaldinho, also a rising star in the West African country.

Nigerian
football icon Jay Jay Okocha will pay tribute to former Arsenal and ex-Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor.

The
Togolese legend will celebrate his retirement from professional football with a star-studded event in Lomé.

Adebayor
has played for some of Europe's top clubs and left an indelible mark on world football.

Emmanuel
Adebayor's illustrious European career
He
began his professional football career with French club Metz in 2001, before moving to rivals Monaco two years later. Adebayor moved to England in 2006, joining London club Arsenal. He made 142 appearances and scored 62 goals in four seasons with the Gunners.

He
moved to Manchester City in 2009, before being loaned to Spanish club Real Madrid in 2011.

The
striker also played for Tottenham Hotspur, Crystal Palace and Istanbul Basaksehir before finishing his career with his hometown club Semassi in 2023.

He
made 87 appearances for the Togo national team, scoring 37 goals.

Football
stars to hit Lome
The
2008 CAF Player of the Year has drawn up a star-studded list of former football players as a testimonial is scheduled for the Kegue Stadium in Lome.

Among
the players billed for the event are Austine Jay Jay Okocha, Nwankwo Kanu, Samuel Eto'o, Abedi Pele and Didier Drogba.

Togo
News reports that former Arsenal star Thierry Henry is also expected to grace the occasion alongside 2005 Ballon d'Or winner Ronaldinho.

Viral
footage shows Jay Jay Okocha throwing his support for the former Togo striker. Okocha said:

"Hi everyone, this is Jay Jay Okocha. I want to confirm, I will be in Lomé, Togo from October 25th to 27th to watch Emmanuel Adebayor's farewell match.

"So
come and support our brother who has given us pride as Africans."


Adebayor shows off his SEA villa
